Y.E.S. Wayfinders
2025-2026 High School Homeschool Program

Join Y.E.S. for a year of adventure + discipleship!
At Y.E.S. we have a passion for facilitating outdoor experiences that help participants discover the wonder of creation, catalyze deeper relationships, and develop character through a wide variety of challenging experiences. The Wayfinders program seeks to come alongside parents as they help their children explore the delight of knowing God, the Creator, as He is revealed in the Bible. Participants will hone well-rounded outdoor skills (including rock climbing, canoeing, hiking, stewardship, and more). Along the way, they will engage in reading assignments and guided discussions to inspire and enable them to know God better. Our prayer is that they embrace their true identity as His beloved children, and grow into who He has created them to be!

Curriculum:
Each Y.E.S. Wayfinders group (maximum 12 students) will meet roughly every other Monday (with a break in December/January), plus one overnight trip (two days, one night each, meals included) over the 2025-2026 school year. Your child will receive age-appropriate skills instruction in canoeing (flatwater up to Class II whitewater), rock climbing (bouldering, top-roping, rappelling, and more as ability allows), hiking, land stewardship, and more. Our adventures will provide challenging opportunities to further develop outdoor decision-making, risk management, teamwork, and leadership skills in a group of peers that are empowered to solve problems together.
Our prayer is that through our time together, students will be inspired to know the God of the Bible better, understand that true identity is found in Him, and be better enabled to pursue Him for life. We will facilitate group discussions each day, which will reference scriptural and/or supplemental reading assignments given before each program.
Please refer to the Parent Guide linked below for more information on our overarching Y.E.S. learning outcomes.
Activities take place at a huge variety of locations around Chattanooga, with transportation provided via 15-passenger van from the rendezvous location. All sport-specific gear and reading materials will be provided.
