Curriculum:

Each group (maximum 13 students) meets once per week for the duration of the 14-week semester. Your child will receive age-appropriate skills instruction in canoeing and/or kayaking (beginning on flatwater and progressing to gentle moving water for 5th-8th grade groups), rock climbing (bouldering, top-roping, and rappelling), hiking, land stewardship, and a wide variety of adventure skills (including risk management, application of Leave No Trace principles, and others) that apply to all outdoor pursuits. We will facilitate group discussions relating to our learning outcomes each day and present countless opportunities to try out new skills and understandings.
